I've been slowly and quietly working on a new experience for our website over the last few months. I had big plans to do a huge launch with all the bells and whistles—new videos, updated images, the works!—but that wasn't possible given our current circumstances.
I love designing websites. It's always been a passion of mine and something I'm good at. At times, it's therapeutic for me. I knew that if I dug into this project I wouldn't only just finish it, but it would give me the gift of feeling productive and energized. To be honest guys, I really needed that momentum.
I'm excited about our new home and updated branding! It feels right. I know you'll have some questions about our new site, so I want to make sure I get those answered!
WHAT WEBSITE PLATFORM DO YOU USE?!
Our website is on the Showit platform! It's an incredible website design platform that makes it easy to design robust, bold, and unique websites. We've been using Showit for a few years now and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT.
I couldn't recommend the platform more to anyone. It combines the ability to drag and drop with the power of WordPress (for your blog). If you've ever played around in Adobe's suite, designing a website in Showit reminds me of designing a PDF in Adobe InDesign.
WHO DESIGNED YOUR WEBSITE? DID YOU USE A TEMPLATE?
Her templates are fun, beautiful, nicely designed and under the hood—they're powered for SEO. She has a lot of templates at her shop that will get you kick-started with a new, beautiful website.
She's released two NEW templates (Sara & Josephine) today to help you design your sales funnel. I purchased one of these templates early and yesterday, I was able to create a landing page for my upcoming webinar in 1 hour.
I'm working on a sales page for my new course, The Business Plan Blueprint, using her templates. What I love most about her new template collection is they're jam-packed with copywriting tips. It's almost like ad-libs—follow Elizabeth's guidance on what you should write about your product, and poof, your copy is done.
If you've been thinking about refreshing your website, or you've got a product you want to launch, consider taking this time to work on it. When you use a Showit template from The EM Shop, you can literally relaunch a brand new website in a weekend!
