Have you ever looked at the goals you’re setting for a new year and realized they look suspiciously similar to the ones you set last year? Maybe the revenue number changed. Maybe you worded it slightly different. But underneath it, you’re still trying to solve the same problems. A new calendar year does not automatically create a new business, and if you bring the same habits, blind spots, and decision-making into January, there’s a good chance you’ll create a very familiar year (and wedding business decisions actually get harder as you scale).
In this episode, I want to talk about the question successful business owners eventually have to ask: Should I keep figuring this out on my own, or is it time to get some help? Because there comes a point where the question isn’t whether you’re capable of figuring it out. You’ve already proven that you are. The question is whether doing everything on your own is still the best way to get where you want to go.
We’re also talking about what growth actually means in your next phase of business, because bigger isn’t always better. Maybe you want fewer weddings at a higher price or you want to make the same amount of money with half the volume. Maybe you’re ready to build a team, launch something you’ve been sitting on, or finally create a business that doesn’t swallow up your whole life. Before you make another plan for 2027, I want you to get really clear about what you’re actually building toward.
And I’m breaking down some of the signs that coaching might be the right support for that next phase. If you can see where you want to go but can’t see the path, you keep having the same conversation with yourself, you know you’re the bottleneck, or you’ve outgrown the people you normally turn to for business advice, it might be time to stop trying to coach yourself through it.

Hey, hey, it's your coach Candice. Have you ever looked at the goals you're setting for a new year and realize that some of them look suspiciously similar to the goals that you set last year? Guilty as charged. You might have changed the number or maybe some of the wording changed, but underneath the goals that you're setting, you find that you're still trying to solve some of the same problems. Today I want to talk about what it looks like to prepare your business for another year of growth.
We're in Q4 now, October. A lot of you guys are slowing down. End of your reflections are starting. And you might have reached a point where outside support could really help where you want to go in your business, but also help you get there faster.
This is the time of year where everybody starts making plans. We're doing it in my mastermind. I'm doing it in my own business. We're setting revenue goals, marketing plans, hiring plans. People are thinking about rebranding, they're creating new offers in their business, new services. They're rethinking boundaries and they're rethinking how they're selling and what they want to sell. And this is just a great time of year to do that. But a new calendar year.
Does not automatically create a new business. That's where a lot of us get stuck. We think, New Year, new me. And here's the T: if you take the same decision making, the same habits, your blind spots, and your avoidance patterns, which we've actually been dissecting here on the podcast the last couple of weeks, you take those things into January and you create this gorgeous.
AI generated 2027 plan, it's very likely that you're still going to end up having a very familiar year in your business. It's like Groundhog Day. You're repeating the same year over and over again. We've actually talked about this too on the podcast. I think underneath all of this, there's a question that I want you to sit with today. It's the title of this episode.
Candice (02:22.636)
The question successful business owners eventually have to ask. And I don't think it's one you're going to expect. Don't worry, we're gonna get into it into today's episode.
Hey there, friend, welcome back to the Power and Purpose Podcast. If this is the first time you're tuning in, hello, I'm Candace. I'm your business coach. I'm a former luxury wedding planner, built and sold a very successful business. And around here we talk very honestly about what it takes to build a profitable business with purpose without losing yourself in the process. If you're a regular listener, thank you for tuning in for another episode. Please make sure that you're following the show wherever you're tuning in. We're on Spotify, we're on Apple Podcasts.
And I'm pretty sure we're probably on most podcasting apps, if those are still around. And if there's somebody in your life, a colleague, a business festi, who's been talking about making some big changes in their business next year, I would love for you to send this episode to them because I have a feeling we're going to give them a few things to think about. Okay, before we get into the question and everything I want to share and teach you on today, I want to do are.
Q update. I wish there was like music here that just played like those little chimes or something. That's an invitation to my podcast in order to put a little Q update magic in the podcast. I'm dying to give you this update. I've returned from Portugal, spent eight amazing days in a small little town 90 minutes south of Lisbon called Comporta. Myself and about 10 other women.
Came together for a full week. We had a private villa, private chef, access to Martha, the founder of Stencil, who has been helping us to build our software. And we learned, we strategized, we came together, we shared so much about business and struggles and ideas. It was truly amazing. It was restful, it was productive.
Candice (04:29.206)
And it was a trip that I will always remember. I'm so grateful to be connected to these women and to be doing this work. So this all leads into Q because I came back more fired up than ever to get Q ready for you. If you're new around here, Q is my new professional wedding planning software for wedding planners. And it's rolling out very soon. We're aiming for an octopus.
October 19th launch of version one of Q. We're going to launch two members of my program, the Planner's Playbook first. They've been beta testing Q behind the scenes, moving their weddings into Q, playing around, and now things are getting a little more serious. We've sort of been in prototype version for the last couple of months, but now we're looking to actually turn things on and make Q for real for users.
October 19th is when we're launching to our original prototype beta testers. And then from there, I'll be inviting planners who signed up for the Q wait list in batches to trial Q. And if it's something you want to switch to, if it is the system you've been dying for in your business, which fingers crossed, I hope it is, because that's what I've been building. We are going to have an incredible.
Incredible incentive to be one of the first early adopters of Q. So we've been working hard behind the scenes and we've got about two weeks to go. I am feverishly working to make sure that Q is ready for you. We have some features that are still in development that we will hopefully have ready at launch. Floor plans being one of the most complicated things I have ever done in my life.
You guys, respect to every floor planning software out there. This shit is not for the week. There's so much that goes into it. And thankfully, I know all these things, but building it takes so much time and it's precise. And I'm so meticulous. So really, really, really focused on finishing up floor plans. We're wiring up the client side of Q.
Candice (06:48.962)
It's actually all wired, just making some design adjustments there for what your clients see. All in all, I just want to say that I am so excited to see planners using Q. And I literally cannot wait for you to get your hands on her. So the update this week is make sure you're signed up for the Q wait list. You can go to planwithq.com or click the link in today's show notes. Make sure you're on the wait list. I am calling planners into Q.
Based on the order in which you are in the wait list. So the sooner you sign up, the sooner you're going to get an invitation to try it out. Okay. That's the queue update for this week. I hope you're as excited as I am. And let's get into today's episode. The first thing I want to share with you is that you can be good at business and still need support. And I want to start here because I think
This is where a lot of successful people sometimes get themselves into trouble. The more capable you become in business, the more you start believing you should be able to figure everything out on your own. So if you've been in business for five years, seven years, 10 years, you've built a brand, you've solved problems before. You know your clients, you know the wedding industry. So when something isn't working, your in your instinct usually is, I should know how to fix this. But that's not necessarily true.
I mean, I have a business coach and I think I'm pretty dang good at business. And I still need support. This is where I see a lot of people going wrong. And this is the question that I promised you at the top of the episode. The question that I think every successful business owner eventually has to ask themselves. There comes a point in business where the question is not, are you capable of figuring it out on your own? I think you've already proven that you are.
The question is whether figuring it out on your own is still the best way to get to where you want to go. And so the question is should I figure this out on my own or should I get some help in my business? And that's a different kind of question. I think it's a harder one too, because it has really nothing to do with how good you are. You can be absolutely excellent at this. And I coach women who are excellent.
Candice (09:13.418)
At business. I love coaching women who are excellent at business. And you can still answer that question, Nick, no, I don't want to figure this out on my own. And I probably shouldn't try to figure this out on my own. You guys know that I have a a phrase that I love to say, and it's you shouldn't have to do business alone. And I think that sometimes.
The further you go in business, the more complicated the decisions become. I've seen this in my own business. I mean, every day I feel like I'm confronted with a complicated decision. Some I feel very comfortable making decisions about, but many I bring to my own coach. And I'm like, what should I do here? Here's what I'm thinking. What do you think? And I'm gonna be for real. A lot of the times she's like, boo-bo back up. That's not what I want you to do. And it always surprises me because.
You know, I think I have the answers to everything in my business, but there's sim there's things I have not experienced. There are circumstances I have not lived. That my coach is several years ahead of me. And she has seen patterns and behavior and circumstances arise and opportunities. She comes from with her her her opinions and her advice come from deep wisdom in her specialty, in her niche.
So when I come to her with a problem that I think should be solved this way, and she gives me a different way to solve it, I'm always so grateful that I asked for her advice. Because what felt obvious to me was different for her. And I'm gonna be honest, she's usually right. And so it just reinforces my point that the further you go in business, the more complicated the decisions become for you. Because you're no longer deciding whether you should just.
have an Instagram account. You're no longer deciding whether you should change your positioning, whether you want to hire somebody or fire somebody or whether it makes sense to raise your prices.
Candice (11:11.8)
Having somebody who knows your business becomes very valuable, especially somebody who's done all those things in the past and has also supported many people in making those decisions. They've seen what happens when you do A, B, or C. And so here's how I like to think about coaching. Think about it like this: it's access to someone else's experience, perspective, mistakes, and their shortcuts. And I understand.
The value of that even more now, because I've experienced the power of long-term coaching and that relationship myself. In fact, I was reflecting on this last night and I just threw out a thread post about it. And then it prompted this episode. I'm like, I want to talk about this more because there's something so valuable about bringing a problem to somebody who already knows the backstory of your business. You don't have to explain the entire business every time. And if you've been a part of part of like a
A program before where, like, there's hundreds of people, the coach doesn't know you, they don't know your business, and you're thinking, my god, I have to prepare a freaking slide deck to introduce myself to this person. And I've been here for eight months. There's something so valuable about bringing a problem to somebody who already knows the backstory of your business. You don't have to explain the entire business every time. You don't need to give them that slide deck. They know what you tried six months ago, they know.
What you said you wanted, they remember that thing you swore you were never going to do again, and they can see your patterns a lot more clearly than you can. I call out patterns to my coaching clients all the time. And that's because I'm standing beside them while those patterns keep playing out. And this is a huge part.
Of what I love about coaching women inside my coaching program, WPI, and what I value so much in my coach. So, when we're thinking about your business and we're thinking about 2027 and the next phase, I want you to ask the question: what does that actually mean for you? So, before I share with you a little bit more about what support could look like for your business, I want to sort of back all the way up because I think
Candice (13:28.876)
This is the part that a lot of people skip. Before you can decide whether you need support, a coach, you have to get honest about what you're trying to do. Sometimes people come to me and they're like, I want to grow. I'm like, okay, what does that mean? What does growth mean to you? Or sometimes people say, Well, I want to make $150,000 a year or $300,000 a year. And I'm like, well, why?
What what about that number is appealing to you? Or what about that num what's the significance of that specific number? And so there's something that I think the wedding industry and just like business in general gets wrong a lot. And it's it's when we're thinking about growth and the next phase of business, which we're all thinking about as we end a year and start anew, your next phase is not always bigger.
For some of you, for sure, it it's it's more weddings or a bigger team. But for just as many of you, I think an equal number of people, it's fewer weddings at a higher price, or it's making the same amount of money at half the volume. So you're not, you know, dead by October. It might be finally building the associate side of your photography business, or bringing in a designer for your stationary company, or building out
The design side of your planning business, or the education side, or something you've been sitting on for like two years, that you just don't have the time, the bandwidth, or maybe the courage to start just yet. It could be being known for something very specific instead of being the best kept secret in your market, which a lot of you are. And it gets me upset because you're so freaking talented and amazing at what you do, but your marketing, your positioning, your branding.
Sucks and people are not finding you.
Candice (15:28.972)
I think for a lot of you, and this is a conversation we've been having a lot inside my mastermind. It's a conversation that we've been just, I've been just seeing, I've been having with people, and it's part of what is encouraging me to build Q for planners. It's a business that stops swallowing up your whole life. So before we can talk about if you need a coach or if something like that would support you, I want you to sit with a question that's sort of swirling. What does the next version of your business look like?
And have you ever actually wrote it down, said it out loud, told somebody, you'd be really amazed at how many smart, successful women have never actually said, I want to do this to someone else. They know something needs to change in their business. They can feel that maybe they've outgrown the business that they've built. I like to say sometimes we build this elaborate sand castle and we realize, man, that's just not what I want.
And we just don't put words to where we're trying to go. I think that is so important to identify because you cannot get support in your business from a coach, from a life coach, a business coach, or somebody who you were in enlisting to help you. You can't get support if you don't know where you're going. If you don't know what the destination is. Like, how can you go on vacation if you don't know where you're flying to? So you can't get strategy.
To be something different, to grow your business. And I'm using air quotes. You can't see it, but I'm think about me putting these in air quotes. you can't build a plan around how you feel. You can't build towards something different if you don't know what different is. So the first move of right now, and you're thinking about the next phase of business, isn't a rebrand or a pricing change. I think it's deciding purposefully what you're building towards so that.
Everything after it has something to aim at. And this is also going to help you really clarify what type of support you need and what type of coach you need. Because there are different types of business coaches out there. I'm not the only person, although I'm going to say that I am the best and I would love to support you, but you might need a special set of coaching that I just don't provide. So understanding where you're going.
Candice (17:50.068)
Is so important so that you can see what type of support you need. And what I'd like to talk about next is how to know if coaching is the right fit for your next phase. A lot of people come to me and they say, Candace, I don't know if I need a business coach. I don't know if I'm ready for coaching. I don't know if coaching is going to be the right fit for me. And I love that. I love that people are are thinking it like I need help, but I just don't know if I'm ready for it. So
Once you know what you want to build, what you want to do, here's how to tell whether coaching is the right support to get you there. I think it comes down to a few honest things. And I've been doing this for 15 years, since 2011. So I've been doing this a long time. I've coached thousands of people and I've coached hundreds of people individually, one-to-one. Okay. So this comes from
Deep experience. The first thing is you can picture the next version of your business, but you just can't see the path to it. You know where you want to go. You know that you want to build a business that looks like this. You can see it, but what you don't have is a clear, maybe unloanly way to get there. And so that gap between the vision you have and the how is exactly what coaching is for.
That's exactly what a coach is meant to do. It's meant to bridge that gap. It's not about information and learning, although you're gonna learn so much with a coach, especially if you work with me. You can find information anywhere. That's also the problem. What you're missing is someone to help you decide what information actually applies to you, what to prioritize, and also what to ignore, because there's so much power in ignoring.
The wrong thing. So many people go on side quests and get super sidetracked and get really in their head. Coaching helps reel you back in. So you can picture the next version, but not the path to it. That's a good sign that you should probably look at hiring a coach. The second thing is that you keep having the same conversation with yourself. Pay attention to the problem that you've been turning over in your mind for weeks, months, and even years.
Candice (20:08.652)
I really need to raise my prices. That's a popular one. Or I need to stop taking these clients. Or I really should hire someone to help me. Or I cannot do another season like this. Many of you were listening to this episode with that squarely on your mind. I cannot do another season like this. At some point, the question stops being, what's the answer?
And it becomes how long are we gonna keep talking about this? How long are we gonna keep thinking about this? The reason why you haven't acted on it is not out of laziness. And that's something that often there's a bit of shame in here. And I want to remove that. It's not that you're lazy, it's not that you're failing, but I think sometimes you simply cannot coach yourself through the thing that you're standing inside of. It's like you can't read the label of the jar from inside of it.
So if you keep having the same conversation with yourself, you know you need to do these things, you know you need to change these things, and you know you want different for your business, and you're just not sure what to do first, or you're just not sure how to take the first step, a coach is going to help you with that. The next thing is you want somebody who's going to tell you the truth and not just cheer for you. A coach should not exist to just clap for every idea you have. And this is so important.
You don't want somebody just nodding their head and saying, yeah, that sounds great. Yeah, that sounds great. Okay, go do that and tell me how it goes. No, no, no. Sometimes my job is to say, yeah, that actually is great. Go and do it. And I love when I get to say that. I think sometimes people expect me to be like, no, because there's a lot of things that I'm like, pump the brakes on, pump, pump, let's, let's chat about this. But sometimes I get to say, yeah, fucking do it. It sounds awesome. Your plan is perfect. And then sometimes it's like, okay, you already know what you need to do. So
Why are we negotiating with it? And then sometimes it's like, no, you need to pump the brake, sister. Let's talk about this. Let's talk about why you want to do this. Let's talk about what this means. Let me show you some of the blind spots that you may have not thought about. Let's make sure before we put the time, the money, the effort into doing this thing, that you are making a decision from an educated place.
Candice (22:31.072)
And not from a place of scarcity, from a place of boredom, which two things that absolutely send us on side quests. You know, you're scrolling Instagram and you think, she raised her price, I should do that. she rebranded, I should do that. I have saved people thousands of dollars from making the wrong decision. You really want somebody who's gonna tell you the truth. And if you feel like
You need somebody in your corner to do that for you. Maybe stop you from doing some dumb shit, which my coach has done for me this week specifically. You a coach is going to help you do that. Another sign is that you're the bottleneck and you know it. I see this so much with people who join my coaching program. Every decision runs through you. Every
Final yes, every I'll do it, every fire, every invoice, every Instagram post. And your business literally cannot move faster than you can personally move. And that ceiling isn't about time management. It's like you can't hustle your way out of that. It's a sign that you need someone helping you build a version of your business that does not require all of you all the time. You
You I'm sort of in a little bit of this right now, although I have a team, but I can already see where we need to grow our team as we build Q. And let me just give you a funny analogy that I came up with that I was telling one of my team members, Sandra. Many of you guys know Sandra. where I'm like, I think we need to evolve your role into heavy support on Q as we start to build out a team for it. And here's what I said: I was like, I feel like I am.
The haunted house, and I'm like everything. I'm the ticket girl that you pay to get the ticket. And then I run and I change and I greet you at the door of the haunted house. And then I tell you to wait, and I go inside and I'm the smoke machine operator and I'm cueing the lights and the music. And then I change and I'm the clown comic coming out. Like I feel like I'm doing too many things in this new version of my business.
Candice (24:47.404)
And I can see instantly where I'm gonna become the bottleneck and where my haunted house guests are gonna be sitting there waiting for me to do a quick change behind the scenes and pop out as a scary, as a scary clown. When really the scariest part is that I'm running this entire haunted house myself. So maybe you feel the same way. You feel like you are the one man show haunted house, and you're not necessarily providing the best experience for your customers, and it's not the best experience for you.
There are areas in my business where I know I'm the bottleneck and I hire people to help me there, and it massively improves things in my business. There's no way you are going to grow your business without hiring somebody to help. And the first step that can really help you identify who to hire, what to give them, and how to build a business that now has another person in it is a coach who has done it. And boy, have I hired a lot in my career. I've hired amazing people.
I've only had a few duds, I guess you could say, but I've had them. So I know what to look for. And I've helped so many women hire people in their business from studio administrators to designers on their team to associates in their photography team to day up support to administrative tax support and so much more.
Candice (26:19.01)
The final sign, and this this one I think is a personal favorite of mine, because it affects a lot of people, and I don't, I don't think they realize it. And it's that you've outgrown the people you used to turn to. The business besties you've leaned on for years are wonderful, but some of them are probably in a very different spot than you are now. And the advice that used to help doesn't quite fit the size of the decisions that you're actually making right now.
You're not asking questions like, how do I book a wedding? How do I market my business? You're asking, do I restructure my entire business model? Who do I hire first? How do I scale? How do I scale my income? How do I adjust my pricing to be more profitable? How do I reduce my payroll? And you need a room that's actually in on that conversation with you. This is important and it's also hard because you can outgrow people, but still.
You know, you you still maintain your relationship with them. But I like to say what got you here isn't always going to get you there. And the people that got you here may not be the same people to get you where you want to grow. So if you've outgrown the people that you used to turn to and you're looking for a new board of advisors or a or a person who it has built the thing you want to build, that's a good sign that you should probably hire a coach.
And this is the work that we do inside WPI. And so this is where I want to tell you a little bit about Wedding Pro Insiders, because getting a woman to her next phase of business and life is exactly what this is. When somebody joins WPI, I'm not just handing them a generic roadmap and telling them to follow some course or something like that. I want to understand your business, your goals, your clients, your numbers, your market, your team, your capacity, your ambitions, the things that
You're excited about the things that you avoid doing, the things that you're considering that nobody else even knows that you're considering. And that is where the coaching relationship becomes powerful. I get to get into the little nooks and the little crannies of your business. And that is exactly how I think about doing this work. We might spend one conversation on your pricing, the next on an employee, then on your 2027 marketing plan, talking about through client problems.
Candice (28:45.912)
How you're positioning your business. It is really the most holistic way of growing your business.
And that's business coaching. It's not always sexy. I'm not gonna lie. You know, sometimes we have to talk about hard shit, but having somebody who understands the whole picture means we can make better decisions about the individual pieces. And part of what I posted on threads that I was reflecting on is just the depth of the relationship. I've been working with my coach for over a year. And prior to that, I worked with a coach for like five to seven years. Now the coach that I worked with, we're both in the same program together, which is so wonderful. And we're very very close friends.
So the two coaches I've had in my business, and I've only had two.
Long-term coaches. I was with for a long period of time. And what's so beautiful about that is they understand the context of my business, they understand my patterns, they understand everything I do, the history, what I've let go of, what I've tried that failed. Like they get me. And I was reflecting on how powerful that is. It's like a friend who, when you call,
You don't have to necessarily explain the whole story. Like they just know the 20 years of your life. And so there's a familiarity there, there's a comfort level there that honestly money can't buy. And it's also what I love so much about what I do because I've been running WPI since 2019, October 2019. And would you believe that there are women in the mastermind from October 2019 still?
Candice (30:20.524)
I think that speaks to the quality of the program, the quality of what we do, and the connection that we make together. I mean, I'm not only is it flattering to be able to coach somebody for six plus years, but it's meaningful to me. I mean, these are people who are a part of my life. Like we're connected and I love that.
So, having a coach for a longer period of time, and this is why I do a full-year commitment inside WPI, because we can't just change your business in three months. We can't even change it in six months per se and do all the things you want to do. Long-term coaching is one of the most powerful investments you can make. And on that note, I also think it's important to explain that WPI gives you two things at the same time. You get me.
Your coach, and you also get a room that I've curated for you. And those are two different forms of value. There are things that you're going to want to bring to me directly. Maybe it's a financial question, maybe it's personal. Maybe it involves an employee or something that happened that you're just not ready to talk about in front of other people. That's why the personalized coaching relationship matters because you get one-to-one access with me. I'm in your business, babe. I'm all up in your business. You cannot run from me.
But then there's also a room that I've curated, and I cannot overstate the value of being surrounded by smart women who are also actively building businesses. These ladies truly care about one another. They've built deep friendships with one another. They have traveled with one another. They go visit one another. And sometimes somebody asks a question that you didn't know you needed to ask. So it's not just the business besties built in, but there's shared learning. Sometimes you hear someone get coached through a problem and you think, holy shit, that's me.
I would have never thought to ask that question. And I can tell when we're talking on our group goal, I can see whose ears really perk up and they're listening. But sometimes somebody is like six months ahead of you on a decision and you get to learn how they navigated it. Sometimes you just really need to sit in a room where nobody thinks you're fucking nuts because you want more money, you want a a business that gives you more freedom.
Candice (32:40.866)
You want higher-end clients. So group coaching helps you realize that you're not the only one dealing with hard business shit. And I think that's one of the most underrated things about being in a mastermind. But in order to join a coaching program, sign up with a coach, join a mastermind, there are some things that I think you need to also prepare yourself for. And one of them is you have to be coachable. This is gonna save somebody 10 grand.
Do not join my coaching program, WPI, or any coaching program if you do not want to be coached. And I say this with absolute love. You do not need to agree with me about everything. In fact, please do not, because that would be super weird. But you do need to be open to examining your decisions. You need to be willing to bring the real problem or get to the root of the problem, which a good coach will help you figure out.
You need to participate, you need to take ownership, and you need to try things. And when something does not happen, you do not hide. You have to come back and say, I didn't do it. Or that didn't go great. And then we get to go, okay, great. Why? That conversation is typically more valuable than pretending that everything is fine. So your coach cannot want your business more than you do.
I know I can help you think, I can help you strategize, I can tell you what I see, I can challenge you, I can hold you accountable, I can remind you. But ultimately, your business belongs to you. And in our roadmap call, I will tell you that I've created this plan for us, but it's up to you to get the plan done because it's your business. So you have to be coachable.
When you hire a coach and when you join a coaching program. And that means just surrendering yourself to the advice you get and also paying it, participating in that advice. Before you set goals for 2027, I want you to ask yourself a couple of questions. All right. What does the next version of my business look like? And have I ever said that to anybody, or am I just keeping it to myself?
Candice (35:03.572)
Next question. Am I building towards that vision purposefully? Or am I just hoping next year turns out differently? It's likely the second one. Another question, where am I playing small? That my experience should encourage me to play bigger.
Candice (35:28.106)
What problems have I been trying to solve alone for too long? Likely branding, pricing, positioning, team, restructuring your business, pivoting it. I guarantee these are things you're thinking about. I guarantee you are questioning whether you can continue to keep doing it the same way you've been doing it. And you are following people on Instagram and you are seeing them do things you want to do, and you are asking yourself, why am I not there?
Why am I not doing it?
Candice (36:01.944)
Finally, you have to ask the question, would having a coach and a room full of smart people beside me change what's possible for next year?
That is one I want you to sit with. And if you decide, yes, having a coach and a room full of smart business owners would actually help me. There's an invitation I would like to extend to you. And it's to get in touch with me to see if Wedding Pro Insiders would be a good fit for you. As I'm recording this episode, we have a handful of spaces available inside WPI that I want to fill before the end of the year, especially because.
When we kickstart a new year in WPI, it's game on, baby. We we do very focused workshops on goal setting, yearly strategy, financial goals. I want you in the room when we do those things. What I'm looking for is women who've already built something and have already
Built a business that they feel is successful and are ready to work on what comes next. You do not need to have everything figured out. And frankly, if you did, you probably would not need me. Maybe you'll be sitting in my seat. But you should be ready to participate. You should be ready to be challenged. You should be ready to look honestly at your business, ready to make decisions, and ready to build something that is more intentional. WPI is not for new business owners.
Who have not made any income on their business, WPI is for business owners that have a business model that is financially working. It's just not where they want to be. And so if you've been listening to this episode thinking, okay, this is the room I need to be in, I want you to trust that curiosity enough to take the next step.
Candice (37:58.124)
Reach out to me. You can go to weddingproinsiders.com, sign up for the late wait list. We'll automatically send you an email, respond to it, share more details about yourself. I will send you more details about WPI, all the things that are included from one-to-one coaching, weekly group coaching calls, a retreat experience in my home, plus a lot more. And we'll talk about what your goals are, what it is you want to do, and if I think this is the right place for you right now.
Applying does not mean that you are guaranteed a spot, and it also doesn't mean that you're on the hook to accept, but it does begin the conversation. What I would like to do is see you apply if it's the right fit, and then we can jump on a call and discuss all your questions and really make sure that this is the right investment for you. I want to hear about your business. I want you to tell me what you've built, tell me what you're struggling with, and tell me what you want 2027 to look like. And then we can decide together.
Whether WPI is the right place to help you build it. I would not be sitting here right now if I did not have a coach. I would not be building Q without my coach's help. That is a fact. She has helped me see so many different things. And believe it or not, she has her own SaaS company. So it literally is like the perfect, perfect mix.
I'm literally learning from somebody who's several years ahead of me in SaaS and it has been instrumental. I would not be launching on the 19th, fingers crossed, without her. There's just no way. And I am so grateful for it. And I've seen the impact that it had has had on my business and also my customers. The ripple effect is amazing.
So before you close this episode and move on with your day, I want you to pick one thing that we talked about today that maybe made you a little bit uncomfortable.
Candice (39:54.914)
And I want you to DM me. Open your phone. Don't go anywhere. Open your phone. Go to Instagram. Find mecandice.copla. And I want you to start a conversation with me. The dates on these photos represent the year I first started coaching each of these women. Some of these relationships are newer, and others go back YEARS.
And I NEVER take for granted how lucky I am to do this work.
To be invited into someone’s business, help her accomplish new things, navigate new challenges, make hard decisions, and push herself in ways she might not have thought possible is a PRIVILEGE.
Because the work we do together is about so much more than growing a business.
I think there’s a big difference between learning from someone and having someone as a constant in your life. Someone who knows your business, history, understands what you’re working toward, and can be both a coach and a confidant through all the different seasons of entrepreneurship.
That’s what I get to be for these women. And what makes it even more special is that we’ve built a community of women who genuinely want to stick around. Not just for me, but for each other.
I feel so incredibly fortunate that these women continue to invite me into their businesses, year after year. It’s a privilege I don’t take lightly.
If you’ve been looking for a business coach who can be that person for you, I’d love to invite you to come hang out with us.
Applications for WeddingPro Insiders are open, and I have a handful of spots available.
Maybe next year, we’ll get to add your picture to this wall, too!!
