As an Ottawa wedding planner, I believe in making connections with people and with places. Over the last few years, I've found that my own personal formula for happiness lies in the happiness of others. Even more in bringing people together to create meaningful experiences and lasting memories for my couples.
I became a certified wedding planner in 2018 through the Wedding Planners Institute of Canada. Planning has always been my passion and over the course of 7 years, I planned events of all scopes and sizes – from fundraisers and galas, to air shows and corporate luncheons. It was always the events that celebrated personal milestones and involved a blend of personality and style that I enjoyed the most, so I felt increasingly drawn to the idea of wedding planning.
Since then, I've worked with some amazing couples and brought together stunning celebrations. even during a pandemic. I've been nominated Favourite Wedding Planner in Ottawa by Faces Magazine and had my work published in online wedding publications. To say I'm living out my dreams would be an understatement and I am so grateful to my couples for entrusting me with their own dreams!

What type of couples do you love working with at Baillie David & Co?
I love to plan weddings for Ottawa couples who desire a one-of-a-kind experience. Their wedding is about them but for them, it’s also about spoiling their loved ones
I just love building relationships with my clients. I love getting to know who they are – they’re all so different. Nothing bonds you together quite like planning a wedding.
Your business is GROWING this year! What fun and exciting things are you hoping to do/accomplish?
I’m hoping to exceed my sales goals and also work with some photographers I’ve been admiring for years!

What's your favorite part of working with your clients on the planning, design, and/or coordination of their wedding?
My approach to wedding planning is big hearted but detail focused. A wedding is about connection. It’s your chance to celebrate the fact that you’ve found the person who fits your heart – whether you’re yin and yang, or two sides of the same coin – and to bring everyone you’ve ever loved together under one roof to share in it with you.
I like to start there, taking the time to really get to know you both, finding out what it is that makes your connection with each other so special, and what makes you tick as individuals and as a couple. Not only does getting to know each other properly make the whole wedding planning experience that much more fun, it means we can make sure that every decision made in the planning process really reflects the two of you and the type of experience you want to have on your wedding day.
As an Ottawa wedding planner, I specialize in outdoor weddings and love working with marquees and tented structures to give you that seamless progression from indoors to outdoors. I work creatively alongside my couples, providing a mixture of intuitive design ideas and logistical expertise to make sure everything comes together smoothly, and culminates in a wonderful celebration.
