Amanda Wurzer is the owner of Reno Tahoe Enchanted Events, a wedding planning company proudly serving couples in Lake Tahoe and the surrounding areas. Amanda has been a local of the Reno Tahoe area her entire life. She grew up in South Lake Tahoe and has a love for the natural beauty of the area.
At Reno Tahoe Enchanted Events, the goal is to make the wedding planning process and wedding day as stress-free as possible. Amanda believes that getting married is a time to celebrate the start of a journey with your partner, and not worry about the little details. She wants to help couples create the most magical and unforgettable moments of their lives. With an alpine chic style and skills to help throughout the entire planning process, Amanda is always ready to bring her couples' love stories to life.

How would you describe your wedding design, planning, and coordination style at Reno Tahoe Enchanted Events?
I was born and raised in South Lake Tahoe, so the beauty of this area has a very special place in my heart. I am a huge nature lover. As a result, I try to incorporate the natural beauty of the area into each of my weddings. I call my style alpine chic. It has an emphasis on nature—combining the rustic elements of the great outdoors with hip and luxurious décor.
What type of couples do you love working with at Reno Tahoe Enchanted Events?
As a wedding planner based in Lake Tahoe, I love working with couples who also love the great outdoors. They want to make it the focal point of their wedding and enhance the natural setting with an elegant twist.
Your business is GROWING this year! What fun and exciting things are you hoping to do/accomplish?
This year, we're hoping to start a blog full of wedding tips, vendor spotlights, and past client wedding features. We also want to grow our business by hiring more wedding planner assistants. We would love to have additional staff to help manage some of our clients from start to finish.

What's your favorite part of working with your clients on the planning, design, and/or coordination of their wedding?
My favorite part of working with clients is hearing their love story and the excitement they have to start planning their wedding. I love learning about their wedding vision and then working together to bring that vision to life. I have been very blessed to work with some amazing couples.

Before joining The Planner's Playbook, I didn’t have a signature planning process from start to finish. I felt like I was making everything up on the spot. Now, I have an entire process—from onboarding new clients to offboarding. This makes the whole process streamlined and so much easier.
Candice has made me realize how much my time is worth. She provides all of the templates, forms, and Canva files saving me so much time on each client. And I am always learning new things in each of the Playbooks.
