[00:03:15.970] - Heidi Thompson (Guest)

Thank you for having me. I'm excited to be here.

[00:03:18.410] - Candice Coppola (Host)

I'm thrilled to have you. This is a long time coming. We have been wanting to have you on the show for a long time. I love that we're getting today to sit down and talk about the summit that you have going on right now, how Wedding Pros can join, what it's all about, and also just how to get the most out of an online education experience like a summit. You're the authority because you're the person in the industry who puts on the very best summits. Well, thank you.

[00:03:44.770] - Heidi Thompson (Guest)

I'm excited to have you as a speaker. I was so pumped you decided to join us as a speaker this time around.

[00:03:51.920] - Candice Coppola (Host)

I know. I'm really excited about my topic. I think it's very timely and this crazy, weird time we're all in right now. I just love talking about what I'm talking about, which I'm sure we'll share a little bit more about my topic in a minute. But I'm so excited. I saw the speaker line-up too, and it's good.

[00:04:09.490] - Candice Coppola (Host)

It's.

[00:04:10.010] - Heidi Thompson (Guest)

Really good. Yeah, I'm really excited about it. We've got a lot of people who you probably haven't gotten a chance to learn from before and from a lot of different countries too. We're going to be bringing in a lot of different perspectives, and I'm really, really excited about it.

[00:04:29.470] - Candice Coppola (Host)

Oh, I love that. It must be fun curating the voices that you want to hear at the summit and just thinking through what is this interesting thing that they can add to this education experience? That must be fun.

[00:04:42.230] - Heidi Thompson (Guest)

Oh, yeah. It's like the play time part of putting it together. Just get to look at everybody and what are they up to and where are the experts in and learn about them. It's a lot of fun.

[00:04:51.720] - Candice Coppola (Host)

Yeah, I bet. And I'm sure it's also a ton, a shit ton of work putting together one of these experiences. What number is for you? What number is Summit?

[00:05:01.780] - Heidi Thompson (Guest)

I think seven, maybe. I quit counting.

[00:05:08.120] - Candice Coppola (Host)

There's so many that we can't count. Too many to count. I'm sure you learn something on every Summit, but it must be wonderful to continue to create experiences where wedding pros can come together and learn in real time what it's going to take for them to book more weddings right now in the current economy or in the current conditions of the wedding industry, which doesn't always change so often. But when it does change, it really likes to be a pain in the ass, which is what I feel like we're experiencing right now. Heidi, I would love to hear just your perspective before we get into talking about the summit and educational experiences online. You work with so many wedding pros inside your programs. Not just the Summit, but the programs that you offer. You have amazing programs for wedding pros. I'm hearing that from my own students and then from other folks that wedding pros are just really seeing a huge downturn in their inquiries. I'd just love to know, what are you seeing?

[00:06:04.550] - Heidi Thompson (Guest)

I'm seeing a really interesting mix. I dug into this more recently. I was just asking across the board people on my email list, What's going on? Are you seeing a downturn? Are you busy? Are you in the middle? It's a little bit across the board right now. Some people are having the same inquiries, but slower bookings. Some people are having fewer inquiries. Some people are absolutely slammed. It was really interesting because I was expecting to find a pattern in either vendor type, like maybe planners or maybe DJs are seeing a certain thing, or in market. Maybe in Seattle right now, things are a certain way. That is not what I saw at all. I was really interested in trying to find patterns. The only one I really found is the vast majority of the people who are struggling right now are the ones that don't have a marketing strategy. They've been winging it. That is really the only pattern I've been able to identify. It doesn't matter what country you're in, what city you're in, what area of the wedding business you're in. That is the only commonality I've seen across this. The ones that have a solid marketing strategy are doing significantly better.

[00:07:41.030] - Heidi Thompson (Guest)

That doesn't mean everything's perfect for them or anything. It doesn't.

[00:07:44.310] - Candice Coppola (Host)

Mean everything's okay, but it's just better.

[00:07:46.500] - Heidi Thompson (Guest)

Right, yeah. It was just really interesting because I was expecting to see something more along the lines of especially vendor type. But that is not at all what I saw when I really started to dig into this.

[00:07:59.020] - Candice Coppola (Host)

Yeah, that's fascinating. It begs more questions than it answers your answer. But it's interesting because it's like you and I are problem solvers, right? That's what we do. We're out here to solve problems. And this is a problem that I've been trying to solve and trying to figure out. And I would agree with you. There doesn't seem to be too much rhyme or reason based on location. Some of the indicators that we would normally look at when we look at a downturn, but definitely one of the symptoms that is exacerbating people's lack of inquiries or lack of conversions is their lack of a marketing plan.

[00:08:35.430] - Heidi Thompson (Guest)

Yeah, and I think it's because that's the thing that puts you in the driver's seat. That's the thing that gives you control and allows you to look at, Okay, this is the reality of the market right now. What am I going to do about it? Instead of sitting passively and waiting and hoping, which is what I see a lot of people do.

[00:08:58.490] - Candice Coppola (Host)

Yeah, 100%. I feel like too, when the chips are down, it's also easy to hide. That's definitely a natural human reaction. If your inquiries are slowed, your sales are slowed, you're not making the same amount of money you once were, whatever the circumstance, but it's just not great. We have a tendency to retreat and hide, and hiding only makes things worse. Yes.

[00:09:23.590] - Heidi Thompson (Guest)

I totally get it. It is that natural thing. You start to feel defeated. But if you can get yourself into a mindset of, Okay, this is just how it is right now. Yeah, you can complain about it and whine about it and like, Yeah, do it. Get it out of your system. Then what are you going to do? What are you going to do about it? Because you have to do something strategically if you want anything to change. Otherwise, it's just going to continue to be this way.

[00:09:51.090] - Candice Coppola (Host)

I talk about the new girl energy on this podcast on my Instagram. I'm like, If you want to book more weddings, here's one thing you can do. You can bring some new girl energy to your marketing and market like a new girl on the block who's eager and hungry and ready and putting herself out there and doesn't have any battle scars or any wounds quite yet. She might be green behind the ears, but she definitely has the energy and the drive to become successful. I feel like sometimes we lose that a little bit as we get comfortable in business or especially when the chips are down. At least I've seen that in my own self. What about you?

[00:10:24.210] - Heidi Thompson (Guest)

Totally. It's so easy to get in a rhythm and get complacent. Sometimes we don't have to think about these things. Then all of a sudden, we're presented with a situation and it's like, Oh, shit. I have to figure out what I'm going to do here. It's like if you have that mindset, if you have that outlook of like, This is figure-outable. I can do something to pivot to adapt. That's what I'm seeing a lot of people who are successful right now are doing, then you are going to be able to be in control. Not having control is the biggest anxiety-inducing thing for me. It's like, yes, if I can step into a position where I have some control, where I can make some decisions, where I can do something differently. Okay, maybe it'll work, maybe it won't. But at least I'm in control of the situation and I'm not sitting and feeling like there's nothing I can do. I'm a victim of the circumstances. That, to me, is the worst feeling in the world.

[00:11:33.190] - Candice Coppola (Host)

Oh, yeah, I totally agree. I always feel my best when I'm generating, when I'm creating, when I'm in control. Even if the chips are down or even if I have doubts or things are hard, I know that I have gotten through all of my hard days at work, at home, in life, and I'll get through whatever challenge I'm facing. And being able to take control and to do for your own business or for yourself is a good distraction. And it also means that you're also doing stuff, like you're actually getting things done, which will help you to PS book more weddings. So my question is about the summit first. I would love for you to share more about the summit itself. You've curated an amazing list of speakers to come together and share their secret sauce, things that help them, things that they're knowledgeable about, things that are working right now in the wedding industry to book more weddings. But could you share just more about the summit?

[00:12:26.290] - Heidi Thompson (Guest)

The entire idea behind the summit is to answer the biggest question that I get from wedding professionals. How do I book more weddings? How do I get more leads? How do I get more of these people that I really want to be working with? And how do I book more of them? I went out and curated a bunch of different speakers in all sorts of different areas of expertise, but all of it speaking to that, How do I book more? If you want to generate more leads, if you want to work with a specific type of client that you absolutely love and you want more of them, if you want to know what you're supposed to be doing with your marketing, how to convert more of those leads into sales, that is the entire focus of Bookmore Wedding Summit. It is happening August 21st through the 25th. You are going to learn from an absolute wealth of speakers, Candace included, who are speaking, like I said, to all different areas of this, all different perspectives of it, and from all different business types, from different markets, from different countries. It is a very well-rounded summit where you're not just getting the perspective of planners in Southeast US, and maybe that information doesn't apply to you.

[00:13:59.780] - Heidi Thompson (Guest)

This information applies to everybody that has a wedding business that wants to attract and book more clients.

[00:14:10.430] - Candice Coppola (Host)

Yeah, it's an amazing experience. I love the curation of the the speaker list. And also just a little shout out to you, behind the scenes, I can always tell if a speaking engagement that I am giving my time to is going to be good based on the organization of the host and how things are relayed to speakers. And Heidi is first class with how she's organized everything behind the scenes. I'm like, Okay, this is going to be a well run, well-produced, thoughtful experience for the attendees, which is what somebody like me, a speaker, wants to be a part of those kinds of experiences. Just from the behind the scenes of this all, it's just fabulous.

[00:14:48.650] - Heidi Thompson (Guest)

That's really important to me because I'm sure you've spoken at things. I know I've spoken at things. It's like, What is happening?

[00:14:57.700] - Candice Coppola (Host)

Yes.

[00:14:58.010] - Heidi Thompson (Guest)

Ma'am. Nobody knows what's going on. It's just chaos. That is the last thing I want people to have to experience.

[00:15:05.280] - Candice Coppola (Host)

Well, you do a very good job at organizing. With Seven Summit's under your belt, really, it's not a surprise that this is so well run from the back end of it all. I would love to talk to that person right now who's like, Cool, Summit is next week, but it's August, girl. I need to book more weddings, but I actually have a wedding this weekend or my plate is feeling full. This is the time of year where I feel like wedding pros are really stretched thin and we still have a couple of months to go, friends. So it only sometimes gets more crunched in from here on out. But to the person who's like, How do I devote time to this right now so that I can book more weddings? What would you say to that person to help them get focused on this summit so they can book more weddings?

[00:15:50.760] - Heidi Thompson (Guest)

First of all, if it's not scheduled, it's not going to happen. I would recommend scheduling time now and protecting that CEO time for yourself, even if it's an hour a day or an hour on one day or a couple of hours across multiple days. If you don't block that off in your calendar, something is inevitably going to come along and it's going to take that time. I know that because it happens to me all the time. If I do not proactively protect my time. And I highly recommend making it a regular block on your calendar where you are spending time in the CEO seat, you are maybe going through an educational event or a course. Maybe you're working on planning for yourself, maybe you're working on strategy, but we have to make time for that CEO role or it just doesn't happen. We just wind up grinding and working in the business non-stop and never work on the business. That part is really key. I would also say look at what you can put on the back burner. We all think everything we do in a given day is the most important thing, but if you really look at it through the lens of what is this task doing for me?

[00:17:14.660] - Heidi Thompson (Guest)

What is the return on investment of me spending my time on this? You'll see there's things that you can either stop doing entirely and those are my favorite things, the things that you don't even really need to be doing. Then you just get that time back, which is fantastic. The other option is, are there things that are better off on the back burner right now that you just don't have time for and you're going to come back to next month? You're going to come back to next quarter? Because you don't have to do everything all the time. I think being able to strategically quit things and strategically back burner things is really important for freeing yourself up and making the time, because let's be honest, nobody just has time for things. We have to make the time for things, or else everybody else and everybody else's priorities just show up and take that time.

[00:18:16.010] - Candice Coppola (Host)

Very true. Those are a wise words of wisdom. I feel like you need a podcast on your... A episode on your podcast all about what you just taught us there. We need a dedicated episode if we don't have one already.

[00:18:26.630] - Heidi Thompson (Guest)

Yeah, that's a good point.

[00:18:28.260] - Candice Coppola (Host)

A Heidi Pepp talk on how to prioritize your time wisely. I would.

[00:18:33.460] - Heidi Thompson (Guest)

Also say keep in mind the point of education isn't to go to school. The point of education is to take action on it. If you go into it with that mindset, if you look at, Okay, what can I apply right now? Or, What's going to be most helpful for me right now? Then go and apply it, you could immediately start getting results from the things that we're talking about in the summit. I think sometimes we put ourselves in this school situation where we feel like the job is sitting in class and learning, but that's not really what business education is all about.

[00:19:13.860] - Candice Coppola (Host)

It shouldn't be, at least. I mean, we're too old for that. I did enough school. I don't want to go to school. I do want to learn, but I want to learn in a dynamic room full of peers and full of experts and have it be a dynamic conversation where I'm able to take things away and apply to my business rather than sitting there with my notebook and my pen, eagerly awaiting some knowledge bomb that actually never gets dropped.

[00:19:39.320] - Heidi Thompson (Guest)

Yeah. It's so easy to spend a ton of time on that. I think sometimes we prioritize like, Oh, I want to get through all of these classes. I want to get through all of these different opportunities. It's like, Why? If you stop and ask yourself that for a minute, then it forces you to prioritize, Okay, what are the things that are actually going to help me right now? Then the rest, if you decide to pick up the all-access pass or the power pack for the summit, you can come back to this next quarter. You can come back to this next year if there's different things that interest you, but it's a not right now thing. Let's say you need to work on your SEO, but you know that's not going to happen until December, cool. Then you can come back to it and work on it then when it works for you.

[00:20:28.310] - Candice Coppola (Host)

That's what's great about experiences like this is you have a diverse group of people, a diverse group of topics. First of all, the summit is free. You get to attend this for free, which is amazing. You had mentioned the WeddingPro PowerPak and All Access Pass. Could you just describe what that is? Because the summit is free, but there are opportunities for you to upgrade your experience.

[00:20:50.000] - Heidi Thompson (Guest)

We wanted to make it where if you want lifetime access to this, if you want access to bonuses that the speakers are contributing, you have a way to get that. The All Access Pass is a lifetime access to all the presentations. Come back to them next year, come back to them five years from now, and take action on the things that the speakers are teaching you. It creates a really great library that you can go back to and reference when you get into a situation. I do this all the time. I reference the all access passes that I created because I'm like, Oh, what's the best way to do this? I know. This person talked about it. I can go find out. Then the power pack is all of the presentations plus a ton of bonuses that all the speakers have contributed, as well as some VIP sessions. You have the two options there. If you do want to upgrade, you absolutely don't have to. Like Candace said, it's a free event. But if you do want to upgrade, the option is there.

[00:21:58.620] - Candice Coppola (Host)

I love that you have that. For somebody who wants to attend the summit for free, and that's the right option for them, and they may not need to invest in any of the other upgrades, they have access to all the same teaching materials that are live during the summit at the same topics the speakers are thinking about. But I've attended many summits, and I'll tell you, I never regretted purchasing the replays so that I could go back and rewatch what somebody talked about. Like you said, occasionally there'll be something that maybe you're not ready for yet, either because of time, the timing is not right for you, or you're like, Hey, I've always wanted to do that, but I'm not there yet in my business. But when I get there, at least then you have this resource to then fall back on. I've always purchased at least the replays. But then I'm an all-in person. I'm like, Give me everything. I don't want to be left out.

[00:22:47.950] - Heidi Thompson (Guest)

So I buy.

[00:22:48.750] - Candice Coppola (Host)

It all. I need.

[00:22:50.410] - Heidi Thompson (Guest)

It all. Give me all the bonuses.

[00:22:52.390] - Candice Coppola (Host)

Yes, please. Give me everything. I want all the free samples. When I go to Sephora, I'm buying more stuff so I could get more free samples. I love a free sample. I love extras. I love bonuses.

[00:23:06.650] - Heidi Thompson (Guest)

They're enticing. I know.

[00:23:08.410] - Candice Coppola (Host)

There are a lot of speakers. I'm really excited because I'm talking about how you can use data in your business to make decisions. That's my topic. This is really decisions around marketing and sales and even how you serve your customers. It goes beyond just booking weddings, but how you can use data in your business to book more weddings and serve your clients really, really well. I'm excited about this topic. I'm passionate about it. It's such a great topic. I want to thank Heidi for letting me speak about it because it's so fantastic. I also have an incredible addition that I've added to the Summit for the... I believe, is for the PowerPak, which is my full onboarding playbook, which is an amazing formula to onboard your clients. It gives you everything you need to know about how to onboard your customers. If you have some crazy onboarding experience that you made up and everybody who hires you, they don't know what they're going to get in the first 30 days, you need my onboarding guys. There's that as well. But there are a lot of speakers. It's not just me, there are a lot of speakers.

[00:24:09.590] - Candice Coppola (Host)

How can the attendees make the most of the summit without feeling overwhelmed?

[00:24:14.940] - Heidi Thompson (Guest)

Prioritizing is a big part of that. Deciding what is going to help you the most right now, it's really easy to sit down and try to consume all of this in a week. I would not advise doing that. Just because you're going to overwhelm yourself, you're going to try to take in so much that you're not able to do anything with it. You're not able to really marinate on it and process it and actually take action. Like I said, we have the power pack, we have the all access pass, so you can refer back to those. But I would say, be selective about what you're going to learn during the week. Make sure it's something that is a high priority to you and that is going to make an impact on your business. Because the speakers are going to be there. You're going to be able to ask them questions. You're going to be able to say, Hey, how would I apply this to this particular situation? Or, I'm not really sure how to utilize this in my business. Or, Can you clarify this particular thing? I would say prioritize the things that are going to make the biggest impact in your business so you can take advantage of actually being able to talk to the speakers.

[00:25:34.650] - Heidi Thompson (Guest)

Because when we're at in-person conferences, you might be able to talk to a speaker real quick in the hallway for a minute, but we can't get an in-depth response to, What would you do in this situation with the solution that you described? Prioritization is a key piece. Then like I said, this should be action-focused. I would encourage you to write down one immediate action step that you are going to take from each presentation that you watch and any additional steps that need to be done after that. There may be things, maybe you're learning about making some changes to your website and you see, Okay, I can do this particular thing this week, but I'm going to have to come back to these other things. Don't let that die off. Set some deadlines for that. Put it in your calendar, put it in a project management tool so that those things actually get done. That is how to make the most out of the gems that you get from these speakers, because otherwise, they die in some notebook that we took to a conference. I have plenty myself. Or it's just like, Oh, yeah, that's a good idea.

[00:26:48.290] - Heidi Thompson (Guest)

I'm going to do that. Then nothing ever comes for it. Because if we don't schedule it, it's never going to happen. You're not just going to magically remember three months from now that that's a thing that you actually wanted to do.

[00:27:03.340] - Candice Coppola (Host)

Yeah, this is such a fair point. Well, while we have you here, I feel like you're one of those Disney guides who shows you behind the scenes of Disney. You can go to Disney, buy your tickets and do it yourself, or you can invest in having somebody give you the real experience of what it's like to go through Disney, right? We want that. That's what we want for this summit. What are some overlooked opportunities that wedding pros can take advantage of during the summit that you think most people may not pay attention to, but here where some of the golden nuggets are?

[00:27:36.300] - Heidi Thompson (Guest)

Oh, man. Asking the speaker's questions. A lot of people get really shy about this, and I think they feel like they're imposing in some way. But I can tell you, being a speaker myself, talking to all of the speakers in my summits, they love it when you come with questions, when you want to take it further and you want further clarification how you can take action on the thing that you learned from them because that's what we want. We don't want you to just sit and listen to us. We want you to go do something with it. If you're asking questions, if you're getting clarification, if you're getting on track, that's the thing that really helps you move forward. I promise you, they want to answer your questions. It's exciting when you get tagged and someone has a question about your presentation, about something you've spent a bunch of time putting together and you put your heart into. I promise you, we genuinely do love that, and you do not have to be shy about it at all. Another thing.

[00:28:45.780] - Candice Coppola (Host)

Is.

[00:28:46.970] - Heidi Thompson (Guest)

Fully utilizing the group. What I mean by that is networking with other attendees. This is a global summit. I have speakers from all over. I have people on my own email list in my audience from six continents. There are people from literally everywhere, and this is a really good opportunity to connect with them. If you want to connect with people in your immediate geographic area or in your state or in your vendor type, maybe you want to form an accountability group after the summit finishes or a mastermind group just to hold each other accountable because business can be lonely sometimes.

[00:29:36.580] - Candice Coppola (Host)

That's true.

[00:29:37.750] - Heidi Thompson (Guest)

Use it, the host in the group. Say, Hey, I am a photographer in Berlin, and I'm looking to connect with other photographers, or I'm looking to connect with other wedding vendors in the Berlin area, or I'm just looking for anybody who wants to hold each other accountable so we can message each other and talk through things. I think that is a real missed opportunity for a lot of people. I think sometimes people are a little bit shy.

[00:30:13.700] - Candice Coppola (Host)

But it.

[00:30:15.380] - Heidi Thompson (Guest)

Is such a great opportunity because everyone in this space has the same goal as you. You're all moving in the same direction. It makes so much sense to do it together. It's so much less lonely and you have that accountability. Definitely look for opportunities to meet people because there are going to be plenty of people that you can connect with during this summit for sure. I don't know if it's uncomfortable or shy or feel a little weird putting themselves out there, but I genuinely love seeing people throwing that out in the group like, Hey, I would love to find some accountability partners, or I want to connect with photographers in different places. It's such a golden opportunity. Okay, whatever. If nobody responds, nobody responds. Big deal. But you open yourself up to connecting with your potential new business bestie who can really, really help you.

[00:31:19.200] - Candice Coppola (Host)

I always find that when you're in a Facebook group for a summit or for an education, a course or something, there are certain people who are memorable because they are making the most out of every opportunity presented to them. They are not wasting an opportunity to catch the live of the hosts. They're not wasting an opportunity to take advantage of any bonuses they might get or a contest that might be happening inside for engagement. They're like, You know what? I paid to be here either with my time or with my money, and I'm going to get the most out of this experience, and they end up getting the most out of the experience. Be that person. Be that person who's like, You know what? For the next four days, I am going to show up to this experience and fully embrace it. Pay attention, be a part of it, connect, use the communities to support me, meet somebody new. I'm just going to push myself outside of my comfort zone. Because at this stage, what do we have to lose? Literally nothing.

[00:32:12.610] - Heidi Thompson (Guest)

Yeah. Big deal. You don't wind up connecting with anybody, but you never know who's in there. You never know who you might meet. It's a group of thousands of people, so you have a lot in common with all of them being that you're looking to grow your business.

[00:32:29.880] - Candice Coppola (Host)

What else do you suggest that we do during our time at the summit to get the absolute maximum out of it?

[00:32:35.690] - Heidi Thompson (Guest)

I would say attend the live sessions that we have. We have the presentations and then we have live sessions each day. Things like panels.

[00:32:44.720] - Candice Coppola (Host)

Hot.

[00:32:45.090] - Heidi Thompson (Guest)

Seats, Q&As, these are all really good opportunities to take your learning further, take your ability to take action further, get really specific feedback, get really specific answers to your questions. I love seeing people do this because, like I said, there's only so much you can take.

[00:33:05.680] - Candice Coppola (Host)

In passively.

[00:33:07.320] - Heidi Thompson (Guest)

When you start to talk to people about how you're going to implement something, and then you make a plan for implementing it, that is actually how things get done. We can sit, and we can listen, and we can take it in, and that's great. But it's not the same as actually interacting live with the different speakers, with your fellow attendees, and being able to get really specific help. I'm always surprised how many people decide to not put themselves forward for things like asking questions or being in a hot seat, I don't know, for whatever reason. But I know that the people who do get a ton out of it and even the people watching that person get in-depth and ask in-depth questions, walk away with ideas. I wouldn't sleep on those live events or the private podcast feed that we'll have. Because I know sometimes it's difficult to sit down and watch everything, so we are making the presentations and the sessions available in a private podcast feed so that you can listen on the go, then come back to the group, ask the speaker some questions, get clarification so you can actually go and take action.

[00:34:34.930] - Heidi Thompson (Guest)

Taking action is a real theme here that I really want you to do.

[00:34:39.360] - Candice Coppola (Host)

From this. Yeah, I agree. Well, listen, I think that's the thing about in-person experiences, whether they're live or virtual, you can come and learn. The point is to learn something that you didn't know or to even affirm something that you knew to be true, which I think sometimes we don't give enough credence to the fact that if you have an expert sitting up here telling you this is how works and you're like, Hey, I'm actually doing that. That's a good thing. It's affirming that you are doing the right thing, and that's equally as valuable as learning it for the first time. Really, in those spaces, you need to learn, but then you need to do. When events like this make time for the doing and promote and actively want you to do, that's where you're going to get the most out of an experience, is actually taking action on the things that you're learning. I love that you have this private podcast because there's like no excuse. You've got a couple of meetings that week and you might not be at your desk. Okay, well, guess what? You could just listen to it in your dang car and it's very easy to do.

[00:35:39.470] - Candice Coppola (Host)

That makes it just that much easier to access and more accessible for people.

[00:35:43.480] - Heidi Thompson (Guest)

Yeah, I want it to be easy, and I want it to be easy to take action on because I know what happens when people do that. And that's really exciting to me. That's where I want to get people to, is actually seeing a change in their business, seeing that transformation that comes on the other side of taking an action.

[00:36:03.000] - Candice Coppola (Host)

Yeah, 100 %. Well, I have put together all the details at candicecoppola.com/summit. You can learn more about the summit and sign up. It's free, so that's pretty much a no-brainer. You should be signing up for it. It's free. You have our private podcast feeds, so you can listen to it on the go. But we have decided that we are going to actually make time for this next week. We're not just going to sign up for something and then not do anything.

[00:36:27.640] - Heidi Thompson (Guest)

With it.

[00:36:28.510] - Candice Coppola (Host)

We're not going to do that. It's 2023. We don't do that here anymore, and we can't afford to. We need to make use of all the resources that are being offered to us. We should feel very lucky that there's someone like Heidi who's like, You know what? I'm going to create an accessible piece of education that's highly valuable. I'm going to give people free access to it with opportunities to get even more access if they want to invest. We should be grateful that we have educators like that who make this available so that you can grow your business.

[00:36:57.450] - Heidi Thompson (Guest)

I am so excited for people to come and join this. I know that they are going to get so much out of it, and that's the thing I love seeing. You start to see the results. You start to see people saying, I took this action. I did this thing, and this thing happened. That is the thing that really amps me up during the actual Summit week. I hope that you'll come join us and head over to Candace's link and get your free ticket if you want to upgrade, grab the upgrade. But either way, make a point to go into this with an action-focused mindset and you are going to get a ton out of it.

[00:37:40.440] - Candice Coppola (Host)

Yeah. And put it on your calendar because, as Heidi said, if you don't schedule it, it doesn't exist. It literally is a phantom thing. We need it to exist. It was created for you so that in this weird time where you may be seeing a downturn in your inquiries, you can get tools and resources that are going to help you to book more weddings. Heidi, thank you so much for agreeing to come on today. Well, first, thank you for creating this experience for people and just serving our industry and doing it so well. But thank you also for coming on today and sharing more.

[00:38:15.660] - Heidi Thompson (Guest)
