About Neena McConnell, Owner of Wallflower Events and Designs

Neena McConnell is the owner of Wallflower Events and Designs, a wedding and events planning company with expanded services in floral design. She has a passion for all things creative and takes on tasks with confidence, grace, and determination.

Neena was born and raised in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada where her wedding planning business is located. She graduated from Trent University in 2013 with an Honours Degree in English Literature and Media Communications. In 2018, Neena became triple certified in Wedding and Event Planning, Professional Floral Design, and Event Décor.

Coming from a long line of entrepreneurs, Neena has worked bridal shows and major events such as Art Battle Canada held in Calgary. She has also taught workshops in Floral Design and has worked as a freelance designer for boutique floral shops.

With an eye for detail, Neena offers a fresh approach and keen sense of seeing the whole picture. She finds those little details that make your event special and uniquely yours.

How would you describe your wedding design, planning, and coordination style at Wallflower Events and Designs?

As a wedding planner in Ontario, Canada, our designs are simple, elegant, modern, and timeless. We are also organized, laid back, and get the job done. We want our couples to feel confident knowing that decisions are being made by a professional with them in mind.

What type of couples do you love working with at Wallflower Events and Designs?

We enjoy working with couples who are laid back, relaxed, and in love with their love. They know what they are after, but need help with the execution of their plans.

Your business is GROWING this year! What fun and exciting things are you hoping to do/accomplish?

Yes, we are growing! I am looking to add an assistant to the team. We're also on the hunt for a brick and mortar location to call our forever home.
