I've had the great fortune of having my work featured in various publications over my 10 year career. Still, to this day, I get the same level of excitement seeing a wedding or event we planned/designed featured online or in print for another couple to be inspired by. I've been eagerly awaiting the reveal of MATCHOLOGY by Aisle Society since they launched their kickstarter campaign earlier this year. Before I give you a review of MATCHOLOGY and how it can benefit your business, I want to introduce you to the ladies behind Aisle Society and why they're so special.
Aisle Society is a collective of over 30 wedding blogs worldwide, who have come together to create a new hub of wedding inspiration. Their innovative website leads couples to the best wedding content that exists online, assisting them in finding inspiration along their wedding planning journey. The list of bloggers within Aisle Society spans every genre and style of wedding– including wedding inspiration and love stories that are racially, socially, and ethnically diverse. I've know some of the ladies behind Aisle Society for YEARS (I'm looking at you my dear friend, Ami Price!). Their heart is so invested in wedding vendors like you and I– and they strive everyday to give our brands a platform and voice. Unlike other websites in the wedding industry– we're not just advertisers– we are family. They are keenly aware that the success of their platforms rests on the success of our collective businesses and they are constantly striving to educate, inspire, and advocate for us all.
I signed up for MATCHOLOGY during the kickstarter campaign; I was intrigued by the idea of being able to submit our work in an easy and effective way. The submission process for various publications can be very tricky (and time consuming!), and MATCHOLOGY promised to deliver a fast, effective new way of submitting your work to more than 30 of the world's top wedding blogs. And boy, did they!
Yesterday I had the chance to submit my first wedding using the MATCHOLOGY technology and it took me roughly 15 minutes to gather all the information, upload my images, and hit send. It was easy, seamless, and painless. There is a single questionnaire and universal submission requirements across ALL blogs. Plus, you can use one of your existing systems to host pictures such as Dropbox, pass, SmugMug or Pixieset.
MATCHOLOGY'S user-friendly dashboard will seamlessly integrate into your workflow, with features like auto-fill vendor crediting (YAY!), status updates by email and one-click resubmission and copyright protection. The built-in MATCHOLOGY technology will connect your submission to the publications that are the best fit, and ultimately, will help save you time and get published more often.
So why is getting published so important? It is one of the easiest ways to create buzz and PR for your company. It gives you content to share with your followers and helps to align your wonderful brand with similar brands of good stature. Getting published online helps to drive traffic directly to your website, which can be easily converted into sales for your business. It also helps to increase your website's SEO– and we all know that maintaining a high-ranking in google is EXTREMELY important for your business. Aside from all the business benefits of getting published– it also gives you the chance to share with someone inspiration and information. There are so many wonderful couples who are looking for someone like you to to guide them through the process of planning one of the most special days in their lives.
The ladies at Aisle Society have made MATCHOLOGY extremely affordable for small business owners like you and me. I'm so glad that I signed up and I am excited to send along a bundle of weddings and events we want to get featured! I encourage you you to check out Aisle Society's website to learn more about MATCHOLOGY and how your business can benefit from this fantastic submission tool!
I want to thank all the bloggers behind Aisle Society for being innovators and constant supporters of businesses like mine. Happy submitting, friends!
