About Dana Lewis, Owner of DWD Travel & Destination Weddings
Dana Lewis is the owner of DWD Travel & Destination Weddings, a destination wedding company serving couples getting married in Mexico and The Caribbean. Dana is also a Texas mom to twins and a scrapbook aficionado who is always moving. You could say she lives and breathes travel.
Since starting DWD in 2015, Dana has been able to help over 200 couples plan their weddings and honeymoons. She is committed to creating unforgettable memories and experiences for her clients all over the world. In addition, her clients are delighted to have her help to eliminate the overwhelm that can come with planning such a special trip.
When Dana is not traveling around scoping out the latest destinations and helping her clients plan their dream trip, she can be found just outside of Fort Worth, Texas with her husband and boy/girl twins.

How would you describe your wedding design, planning, and coordination style at DWD Travel & Destination Weddings?
My destination wedding planning style is all in! I work with wedding couples and onsite resort coordinators to make a very stressful process more seamless. Working with a resort in another country can be scary. However, by having me on their side taking care of all the details, wedding couples can feel more confident in the process and outcome.
What type of couples do you love working with at DWD Travel & Destination Weddings?
As a Mexico and The Caribbean destination wedding planner, my favorite couples are those who have no idea what they want other than location (beach vs. garden). It is so fun to figure out what they really want when they think they don't know.
Your business is GROWING this year! What fun and exciting things are you hoping to do/accomplish?
This year, I've already hired an assistant and exceeded some big sales goals. I hope to dive more into the Planner's Playbook, create a better marketing plan, and book more weddings, of course!

What's your favorite part of working with your clients on the planning, design, and/or coordination of their wedding?
I really love helping my clients figure out what they actually want and bringing it to life! A lot of times, couples don't know how to express what they want. Therefore, it's a joy to show them through inspiration boards and of course, the final outcome.
