About Nicole and Kristen, Owners of Well-Dressed Events
Nicole Serse and Kristen Ligas are co-owners of Well-Dressed Events, a wedding planning company based in New Jersey. They met in 2012 at a fashion and beauty PR agency, and their love for planning media events brought these two powerhouse women together. In 2016, Well-Dressed Events was born.
Their experiences working through various roles at major companies like Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdales, Toys’R’Us, and WeWork are what shaped and molded Well-Dressed Events. Through these roles, Nicole and Kristen brought all of their expertise together to create the ultimate party-planning company.
Since then, this duo has worked with countless clients in New Jersey, New York, and beyond for all of life’s events. From weddings to showers and other milestones, Nicole and Kristen are always ready to create memorable moments for their clients.
As their past clients have described them, these women are ‘knowledgeable, fun, positive, helpful, attentive, and no bullsh*it.' Nicole and Kristen think that sums them up perfectly!

How would you describe your wedding design, planning, and coordination style at Well-Dressed Events?
Here at Well-Dressed Events, we specialize in high-end, unique events for modern, bold, standout clients. In addition, we pride ourselves on cutting-edge, creative design, styling, and event management.
What type of couples do you love working with at Well-Dressed Events?
As event planners based in New Jersey, we love couples who want to throw an awesome party that feels like THEM! They want to be surrounded by friends, family, and maybe even a handful of tolerable co-workers. Plus, they have great taste, want good food, a great bar, and a packed dance floor is non-negotiable. They aren't afraid to challenge the way things have always been done and focus on what makes them happy.
Your business is GROWING this year! What fun and exciting things are you hoping to do/accomplish?
We're excited to reach more engaged couples and empower them to have the wedding they want! We are also excited to meet and connect with more wedding vendors to show them how cool and helpful wedding planners actually are. We wedding planners get a bad rap sometimes!

What's your favorite part of working with your clients on the planning, design, and/or coordination of their wedding?
We love seeing how all of the details our clients care about and focus on end up totally reflecting them as a couple on the wedding day. Getting to know their friends and family and listening to their vows and toasts are always a cool full-circle moment for us.
