Danielle Peet is the owner of Wild Smile Events, a leading Kootenays wedding planning business based in British Columbia, Canada. Serving over 75 couples since 2018, her business growth stems from years of volunteerism and personal study. Danielle also has a passion for organizing the complex and tedious details that come with hosting events.
Celebrating all of life's little wondrous moments with those held dear is something Danielle loves to do. Now, she's also honored to have the opportunity to be creative, and give back while creating lasting memories for others. She will 100% argue that More Celebrations = More Happiness! How would you describe your wedding design, planning, and coordination style at Wild Smile Events?
As a Kootenays wedding planning business, we believe connection is key! We work hard to get to know our clients on a deeper level. By doing so, we can curate weddings that tell our couple's story in a way that is memorable and completely authentic.
What type of couples do you love working with at Wild Smile Events?
We love clients who aren't afraid to say “no” to anything that doesn't serve them magic. In addition, we can't get enough of our local and destination clients looking to celebrate in the heart of the mountains of the West Kootenay area of British Columbia.
Your business is GROWING this year! What fun and exciting things are you hoping to do/accomplish?
This year, we're excited to expand our Event Rental Operations by providing high-end rentals to more clients. We are also looking forward to providing a new space for clients and industry members in our community to create and collaborate. Plus, we're excited to reconnect with our small business community as we begin to offer business launch services.

What's your favorite part of working with your clients on the planning, design, and/or coordination of their wedding?
I love learning their story! Marriage is a big deal and the little relationship moments and connections that make up this big, heartfelt decision are what we want to celebrate!
