Deanna Wheeler is the original head, heart, and hands behind Olive Branch Events Co., a wedding planning company based in Wisconsin and Minnesota. While she has planned events of all shapes and sizes, weddings are Deanna's favorite. She loves all of the intricate planning, meaningful details, organization, and logistics. However, nothing is more life-giving to her than people gathering together. She has a servant's heart, loves people, and enjoys helping her couples plan their dream wedding.
When Deanna is not elbows-deep in planning, you’ll find her spending time with her husband, or chasing her toddler. She also enjoys hitting up the local boba spot, or raving about her most recent thrift store find! When you work with Deanna, you’ll feel supported. She's an experienced professional who guides her couples throughout the process without ever losing sight of their vision. After all, as Deanna says “we’ve got a wedding to plan!”

How would you describe your wedding design, planning, and coordination style at Olive Branch Events Co.?
Olive Branch Events Co. is a wedding planning company serving clients in Wisconsin and Minnesota. Our wedding style is modern, organic, and thorough, but also very approachable.
What type of couples do you love working with at Olive Branch Events Co.?
We love working with high-end yet down-to-earth couples. Our couples are the heart and soul of what we do. With that, we want to be their advocates – offering guidance and having fun along the way.
Your business is GROWING this year! What fun and exciting things are you hoping to do/accomplish?
We are really focusing on adding coaching/education services and generating some passive income!! I'd love to also get more weddings in Minneapolis as I recently moved to a new market and am excited to expand.

What's your favorite part of working with your clients on the planning, design, and/or coordination of their wedding?
I love designing with my clients, but we all know design needs great logistics. Honestly, the entire process from start to finish, seeing it all come to life, is by far my favorite. It makes all the hard work worthwhile, especially when the entire vendor team nails it. And of course, I also love getting to know my couples and what makes their wedding day unique to them!
