If you're a creative entrepreneur or small business owner, you know how important it is to have a system in place to manage your clients, projects, and finances. That's where Honeybook comes in – a software platform that streamlines everything from lead management to invoicing. But with multiple plans available on Honeybook, it can be tough to know which one is right for you. In this post, we'll break down the different HoneyBook plans and help you decide which one will best fit your needs.
And don't worry – I have a pretty sweet 50% discount to give you. You can save 50% off any of Honeybooks plans by clicking here (or by using the code purpose at checkout).
What are the plans that Honeybook offers?
Honeybook has introduced three new plans or pricing tiers for NEW members in 2023. Those pricing tiers before the 50% discount are:
- Starter Plan @ $19 per month

What is the Honeybook Starter Plan?
The Honeybook Starter Plan enables you to effortlessly design a smooth client journey. It is ideal for businesses that are starting out, providing unlimited clients and projects, invoicing and payment processing, proposal and contract creation, professional templates, and basic reporting.
What's included in the Honeybook Starter Plan @ $19 per month:
- Unlimited clients and projects
- Invoices and payments
- Proposals and contracts
- One contact form
- Calendar
- All professional templates
- Client portal
- Basic reports
Who is this Honeybook Plan right for?
If you are just starting your business and you haven't booked a lot of clients yet, the Honeybook starter plan is your best option. It'll help you get your business up and running to receive payments and support your first group of customers.
Who is this Honeybook plan not a good fit for?
I don't recommend this plan to everyone. The Starter Plan does not include automations or the HoneyBook scheduler, which are important for established businesses that are looking to grow. Here's why:
- Automations allow you to identify and automate repetitive tasks in your clientflow, ensuring your clients receive personalized communications at the right stages in their journey with you. These are pretty important to a growing business.
- The scheduler makes scheduling meetings and sessions super easy! It syncs with your calendar so you can set your availability in advance, and clients can select the time that works best for them. You can even require clients answer questions and/or submit payment before scheduling!
If you are booking clients and six months or more into your business journey, the essentials or premium plan would be a better fit.

What is the Honeybook Essentials Plan?
With the Essentials Plan, automations are incorporated to help recognize and automate repetitive tasks, thereby providing personalized information to clients at the right time in their journey.
Moreover, it features a scheduler that enables clients to pay for their session and schedule it on your calendar directly, ensuring a smooth experience.
The Honeybook Essentials Plan includes everything in the Starter Plan, plus:
- Scheduler
- Automations
- QuickBooks Online integration
- Up to 3 team members
- Expense management
- Profit and loss
- Remove Powered by HoneyBook
- Standard reports
Who is this Honeybook Plan right for?
I usually recommend the HoneyBook Essentials Plan for businesses as it offers additional customization, productivity, and automation tools to facilitate growth. The plan ensures full white-labeling of all files and messages, giving prominence to your brand.
The Essentials Plan is also ideal for businesses with a team. It allows for up to two team members to be added, and their permissions can be set to provide access to all required features.
If you're booking clients and ready to continue growth, you should be upgrading to the Essentials Plan.
Who is this Honeybook plan not a good fit for?
This plan isn't for someone just starting a business with no clients. It's also not the right fit if you have a larger team or if you're moving to Honeybook from another CRM and want white-gloved service.
What is the Honeybook Premium Plan?
The HoneyBook Premium Plan is built for businesses that are looking to scale up with priority support and more efficiency for your whole team.
The Honeybook Premium Plan includes everything in the Essentials Plan, plus:
- Unlimited team members
- Priority support
- Multiple companies
- Onboarding specialist
- Dedicated account manager
- Advanced reports
Who is this Honeybook Plan right for?
This plan is best suited for businesses that manage multiple brands and have a larger team, as it’s the only plan that supports multiple companies, unlimited team members, and advanced reporting.
It also gives you access to priority support and a dedicated account manager, giving you a direct line to the HoneyBook team, which I cannot recommend enough! HoneyBook’s level of support is incredible, and having a dedicated account manager ensures you and your team are set up for success.
Who is this Honeybook plan not a good fit for?
The Premium Honeybook Plan probably isn't the right fit for start-ups. Stick to the essentials or starter plans instead!

So which Honeybook plan is right for you? Here are a few factors to consider:
- Budget: If you're just starting out or on a tight budget, the Starter Plan may be the best choice for you. However, if you can afford to invest in more advanced tools, the Essentials is worth the extra cost.
- Team Size: If you're a solo entrepreneur, the Essentials may be sufficient for your needs. But if you have multiple team members, you may need the additional project management tools included in the Premium Plan.
- Client Needs: If you work with high-touch clients who require a lot of customization, the Premium may be the best choice for you. But if your clients are more straightforward, the Starter or Essentials Plan may suffice.
In conclusion, HoneyBook offers three different plans to fit a variety of needs and budgets. By considering your team size, client needs, and budget, you can choose the plan that will best support your business growth.
