Joey Malohn is the owner of Chasing Joy Creations, a wedding design and decor company based in Southern California. She is a huge DIYer, crafter, creator, decorator, stylist, and woodworker. And it's those creative design skills that are bringing joy and smiles to others. Two things that definitely make Joey happy—wood and power tools!
Joey has been making wood signs for years (she has an Etsy shop filled with her rustic wood working treasures). She loves weddings and is super passionate about being creative and bringing designs to fruition. It's her biggest passion so there's no doubt that Joey will put her heart into her clients' special day.

Chasing Joy Creations is a wedding design and decor company based in Southern California, and there's nothing cookie-cutter here! I truly believe that beauty is in all the little details. While working with me, couples receive lots of love and thoughtfulness poured into every aspect of their wedding. I hand curate and customize decor that's as unique as their love.
What type of couples do you love working with at Chasing Joy Creations?
I enjoy working with couples that love the rustic, wine, and boho vibes. In addition, they're looking for that one-of-a-kind wedding brimming with charm.
Your business is GROWING this year! What fun and exciting things are you hoping to do/accomplish?
I would really like to branch out and travel outside of Orange County for weddings as well as connect with some stellar rustic vibe venues.

What's your favorite part of working with your clients on the decor and design of their wedding?
I love getting to personally connect with my clients and hear all the little special details of their love story. Then, the magic happens and I get to bring their love story to life through creative and thoughtful design.
