I'm candice!

I'm Candice, your new tell-it-like-it-is BFF (and purpose cheerleader). Are you ready to grow and scale a profitable business with purpose–and one that gives back to your meaningful life? Thought so!

hello,

What's your brand cocktail for success?

take the quiz

*cues up to the bar* Let's start the tab, shall we? Take the quiz and find your brand cocktail for success.

Consider The Wildflowers Podcast: Hear the untold stories of how industry leaders, founders, and up and coming entrepreneurs got their start, the experiences that shaped them, the journey to building the brands they have today, and of course ... the numbers! Stories sure to inspire and reignite your work. As well as give you the courage to redefine success and build a life and business on your own terms.

I’m a guest on Shanna Skidmore’s new podcast, Consider The Wildflowers – and I’m giving you a behind-the-scenes look at how I almost financially lost my business.

Yeah, you read that right.

In 2011 I made some HUGE financial mistakes that are embarrassing to admit–and almost left me burned out and broke (like not paying my taxes and having to take a loan out from Grandma Vera just to make payroll).

I think every entrepreneur needs to listen to this podcast episode because, contrary to what you see online–my story isn’t unique. Lots of wedding pros make the same mistakes I did.

What is unique is that I’m one of the few who is willing to admit that I f*cked up big time because I was overwhelmed, didn’t know what I was doing, and was living well beyond my means.

Here is how Shanna Skidmore, host of Consider The Wildflower's Podcast, describes our interview:

“The money… thats not my thing”. On the brink of broke and about to lose her business, how an unexpected bill from the IRS became the wake up call this Louis Vuitton loving entrepreneur needed to completely transform her mindset about money. If you’ve ever found yourself burying your head in the sand so to speak when it comes to money, today’s interview is a MUST LISTEN!

Candice shares openly and honestly about almost losing her business, borrowing money from Grandma Vera to pay payroll, and avoiding the IRS all due to her complete lack of understanding about her business finances. You’ll learn the cloud-parting moment when she finally figured out that money didn’t have to be a source of shame or fear, and how this former “non-money” person became obsessed with knowing her numbers.

The best part? Now she is empowered to make decisions based on facts and not fears.
