I’ve had a unique relationship with batchworking. It’s been a relationship that’s spanned 10 years, and we’ve never really gotten it right. I’ve been trying to batch work since the very beginning of my first business. Block scheduling? Done it. Group tasks? Tried it. I failed over and over and over again and could never get myself to adopt this working technique or routine.
My friends raved about it. Gurus online swore by it. But me? I couldn’t get through a solid hour before I quit and opened up my inbox to answer an email that really didn’t need to be answered.
