I'm candice!

I'm Candice, your new tell-it-like-it-is BFF (and purpose cheerleader). Are you ready to grow and scale a profitable business with purpose–and one that gives back to your meaningful life? Thought so!

hello,

What's your brand cocktail for success?

take the quiz

*cues up to the bar* Let's start the tab, shall we? Take the quiz and find your brand cocktail for success.

If you're reading this, you're likely well aware of the power that social media holds in 2024. It's not just about sharing your stunning wedding photos or creative ideas anymore; it's about connecting with your audience, showcasing your brand, and ultimately, growing your business. To make this easier for you, I’ve curated a list of some of the best social media management tools tailored specifically for wedding professionals like you. Spoiler alert: these are NOT just schedulers. They are actual tools you can use to make your marketing more effective. Now let’s dive in!

Enji

This list is in no particular order, but if I had to choose the BEST social media management tool for wedding pros, it would be Enji. Tayler Cusick Hollman, the founder of Enji, has dedicated her career to helping small businesses thrive, and she has channeled her expertise into creating a revolutionary marketing software tailored specifically for wedding pros and creative entrepreneurs.

Here’s the short list of BIG things Enji can help with:

  • Gives you a customized marketing strategy in minutes (seriously – just take their quiz!)
  • Makes you feel more confident in your marketing
  • Helps you stay on top of your marketing to do list with a checklist (that’s actually doable)
  • Keeps your brand consistent (with colors and fonts)
  • Helps you write your marketing content fast – with their brilliant AI copywriter
  • Tracks your KPI’s (that’s “Key Performance Indicators”) so you know which marketing efforts are actually moving the needle in your business

And honestly so much more. Most social media management tools for wedding pros were created by marketers. And while that “works”, Tayler’s extensive background in the wedding industry has made this a unique software tool that will help you finally put content out there that you’re proud of. And their customized marketing strategy? Is a much-needed reminder that there is so much more to marketing than posting on Instagram!

Canva

With its user-friendly interface and array of design tools, Canva has CHANGED THE GAME when it comes to social media content creation. Canva's large library of templates and easy-to-use design tools will help you craft gorgeous social media posts that attract your ideal clients. Plus, the ability to drag-and-drop customize every aspect of your designs ensures that they are unique and perfectly aligned with your brand, helps you stand out in a crowded market.

For wedding pros, planning a cohesive and visually appealing social media feed is crucial to attracting potential clients. You’ve likely heard me say before, “the eye buys”. Canva's planning and scheduling features allow you to curate and organize your content, ensuring that your Instagram, Facebook, or Pinterest profiles showcase your work in the best light. With the ability to schedule posts in advance, you can maintain a consistent online presence without the stress of real-time updates.

When I started my wedding business (before Instagram feeds were even a thing…), I remember needing to bust out my Adobe Suite for literally everything. Canva has truly changed the game here, and I love how I can literally create and edit graphics on my phone if I need to!

CapCut or InShot

Whether we like it or not, short-form video is a social media must in 2024, and these are my two tools of choice. Capcut is great for anyone who wants to make cool videos without getting bogged down in complex editing software. It's super user-friendly and comes packed with all sorts of fun filters, effects, and music. If you’ve been wondering how people layer gifs and funny sounds over their videos (see here for an example), it’s Capcut. There are lots of templates just waiting for you inside, so you can create a relatable and funny video quickly (if that fits your brand!).

That being said, if you want MORE robust features in your video editing software (but still want to do everything from your phone), you may want to download InShot as well. You can play around with different aspect ratios, do all the fancy stuff like trimming, splitting, and merging clips, and even add cool text and animations. For wedding pros who want a bit more oomph in their editing and really tailor their videos to their brand's vibe and story, InShot's the way to go. Surprisingly, it’s also significantly more affordable than CapCut, at only $15/year (vs. CapCut’s fee of $109/year).

Tailwind

LISTEN – most wedding pros tell me “they know they should be on Pinterest, but don’t have time/don’t know how” and yet they’ve bought every Instagram course and have a screen time that they’re a little horrified about.

The truth is, Pinterest is often one of the first places couples go to get inspired about their wedding day. Plus, the beauty of Pinterest lies in its visual appeal and its ability to capture the essence of weddings like no other platform.

However, what makes it even more appealing is the way you can harness its potential without sacrificing precious hours from your busy schedule. Because it’s a search-driven platform, the results are a lot longer than what you’ll see on Instagram!

Enter Tailwind – the best Pinterest marketing scheduler. Tailwind simplifies and streamlines your marketing efforts because it allows you to schedule pins, analyze performance, and maximize your reach without the need for constant manual posting. With Tailwind, you can curate a visually stunning and cohesive brand presence on Pinterest, attracting engaged couples who are actively seeking wedding expertise.

Flodesk Email Marketing

Okay, while this one is not necessarily a social media management tool, as your business coach I would be remiss not to tell you that it’s worth considering a tool like Flodesk to help you build up your following off social media. In my opinion, Flodesk is the best email marketing platform for wedding pros who don’t need a ton of bells and whistles, but do want an easy-to-use interface that makes it easy to create BEAUTIFUL emails. Aesthetics are important in the wedding industry, and Flodesk really delivers! PLUS – they offer one of the best “link in bio” websites I’ve seen, if for some reason you don’t want to host that landing page on your own website.

Let’s Talk About ManyChat

Were you expecting to see ManyChat on this list? Or maybe you aren’t sure what software is behind all the “comment this word and we will send you the link” automations that are blowing up on Instagram right now. Either way – let’s talk about it!

ManyChat is a chatbot that is an approved partner of Meta (which means you won’t be flagged for spam!), and is an easy way to add some automation to your interaction with potential customers.

While I do believe that marketing is always an experiment, I also really think that as tech and Chatgpt become a bigger part of our every day, you’ll stand out if you lean into a more personal approach. You can see how we try to do that on the Planner’s Playbook. When you comment, you’ll get a personal message the next time I’m online with the link you requested. No bot sending you an instant link here! While this does mean that people have to wait for the link, I believe it’s a better experience (at least for now!) to avoid them feeling like they are on another mailing list. I will keep you updated in the future if this changes!

Bonus: The Content Creation Tools That Can Help

I know, I know, you never signed up to be a content creator. The reality is though, in 2024, all businesses need to be creating content to attract new customers, and the standards are getting higher. Here are some content creation tools that I use and recommend.

A Bluetooth Selfie Stick/Tripod

I love this one because it’s both a selfie stick and a tripod in one. While it’s not fancy, it’s sleek and portable which means it’s a great addition to your desk when you’re working and in your kit on the wedding day.

Wireless Lavalier Mics

This might surprise you, but sound quality makes a BIG difference in how your social media content will perform. If you’re shooting content outside on a wedding day, I highly recommend investing in something like this that hooks up to your phone and ensures your sound is as good as your visuals!

A Good Ring Light

Anytime I’m recording anything, I have a good number of ring lights and other lights shining in my face. A good ring light makes a BIG difference in how your content appears, so it’s worth investing in if you plan to make any kind of “face to cam” content (and remember, in the wedding industry, people do want to connect with the person behind the brand!). This is the one I use and recommend!

A Microphone (Especially if you want to start a Youtube channel or Podcast)

More and more wedding pros are expanding their marketing efforts and showing off their expertise with evergreen content on a Youtube channel or Podcast. Even if you don’t plan to start your own show (or channel), a microphone can come in handy if you want to stand out as an industry leader and start participating in virtual events as a speaker or signing up to be a guest on other people’s shows! While this isn’t a “must” by any means, this affordable mic will come in handy!
